Surviving Conferences

7. Filling in the feedback form

At the start of the conference remember that the organisers will want feedback. Make notes as you go about what was good and what was not so good, when you fill in the form remember all the positives, not just the negatives and try and be constructive.

  1. No need to complain about the coffee.

  2. Act as a ‘critical friend’, giving your name and contact details, and reinforcing feedback you’ve already given in person.
And don’t use the form to complain about things that could have been sorted out if you’d raised them at the time!
